dissapointment?

Not really into driving games on the PC, but after upgrading my graphics card i thought i would take advantage of it instead of buying for the PS2.

Anybody have there own opinion of the game or screenshots?

Ive only just started and its pretty good (PS2 version) really quick and responsive and more variety than GT4

Graphics arent mindblowing - my 6600GT could run it fine on full everything and IIRC max res is 1280x1024. Driveability is pretty good but some of the vehicles are a bit boring esp the monster trucks. Strikes me as a jack of all trades, master of none type driving game.

Was doing World Series 1st in everything but got bored at tier 9 so just settling for 3rd or better to get it completed.

Just one thing which i've noticed on my Xbox version.

The racing was really very easy and at 26% throught the game I was wondering when it would get harder.

After looking in the options settings, under the driving bit I had all the advanced stuff turned off - damage, handling and gravel traps.

Turn these on and the games changes dramatically

The problem is, it doesnt remember the settings so you have to amend them for each race
