Joking aside - what the base config and Intel? look at the AMD version for roughly the same if you are into gaming.

as drevil says - what are you looking to do with the PC and how much do you want to spend - then decide what some of the minimum requirements are --- ie what size screen and hd do you need, the rest should fall into place

the alienware always seem overpriced to me (and they are not dell yet ! )

evesham - ony had neutral comments

mesh - would not touch

personal - I would also look at dell or better still self build

or even http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...l_systems.html

Regarding the companies listed, Mesh and Evesham regularly score in the top 3 in PCPro Mag, so either of them would be great systems.

IMO I would not touch Dell with a barge pole - their customer service/after sales is absolute dogsh1t!

Well- I own a Mesh and it has been faultless - recently upgraded and the internal setup was well done when it came time to rip it all apart.

I also personally prefer AMD chips for gaming rigs... so I'd not buy a pent system.

If I had the money I'd get THIS one:

Interesting that, I saw a report recently where a magazine review said that Mesh spent a lot of effort to get good machines for review but the ones they built for customers showed no such thing. Not only badly put together but he quoted a case of one machine where Mesh had flashed the BIOS for a different motherboard on to one.

I haven't seen a Mesh for 14 years or so, but it failed very soon after purchase and Mesh tried to supply a new MB and processor of a lesser spec as an onsite replacement.
