Samsung LE32R41B Settings for Xbox 360
Just got a new Samsung 32 LCD tv for the 360 but am finding the picture much to dark esp with PGR3.
Can anyone give me any tips on setting up this TV for the 360?
Cheers
Jake.

PGR is a dark game (in the dark bits), i've got the Sammy LE32M61B and its great on all other games, there is a gamma control in the pgr setup, try adjusting that first.
As for the tv, i've got it set to Dynamic Contrast. looks great

Not sure if your model has the auto brightness option, if so i've got this turned off as it tends to darken the pic.

51B is 2000:1 contrast, 10 bit colour and some other bits.
The 61B is the latest with 5000:1 contrast.

I would highly recommend the Sammy's for use with the xbox 360

I'd previously been looking at the 41B as it was the one that was coming up on various suppliers websites.
Didn't know whether the 51B meant something like the same TV just with a freeview tuner etc.
Thanks for the reply

So to recap then use the Dynamic factory preset with the Brightness sensor off?

41B 51B and 61B are different generations of the same tv, like said above the freeview ones tend to have an X at the end of the model number.
the 26" 41B are the ones MS used to demo the 360 on there in store setups.
Cant you set the TV type in the XBox settings, seem to remember this effects brightness. apparently King Kong has major problems with some tv's and brightness as there is no in game comtrols to overide default settings.

You can only set the resolution within the dashboard. Individual games have some control over brightness etc but not much.
The Samsung tvs have loads of different settings but for me it either goes really washed out or too dark.
