I've got an Advent 3418 PC which has a Pentium 4 3.2Ghz HT CPU. I'm building another pc at the moment and would like to use the exact model of this CPU. How do I find out the exact model of CPU in my Advent so I can buy another CPU?

If I can't get that exact model, which model (fastest and most stable) of CPU do you recommend for a socket 478 motherboard?

Download a copy of Aida32 and this will give you loads of infor on your machine.

TBH you will struggle getting a socket 478 CPU. Most stores don't stock them anymore.

But to correctly identify your CPU, download CPU-Z from here
