WI FI HELP NEEDED

Now i have broadband i would like to set up WI FI in the house so as to get rid of the cables, at xmas i was lucky enough to win the following,

Linksys Wireless-G ADSL Gateway
Linksys Wireless-G Notebook Adapter with SpeedBooster

But have no idea what to do with them, help needed please..

Get broadband (if you don't already have it) and connect the Gateway to it.

The Notebook adaptor will be a PCMCIA card so will need to go in a laptop.
