A question regarding NTL's silver cable modem
My question is:
What lights have you got showing?
I have got (from left to right) the PWR, ENET, SYNC and RDY.
Reason why I ask is that, we are having problems with our wireless network and we (I) think it is the modem that is the prob. We phoned NTL as our net was not working, and the ntl tech person said it was our wireless router that was making us loose the net. since we removed the router, our BB has been fine.
Now, a good month ago, the cable modem was showing D/S and U/S lit up (as well as the siad lights above), now they are not. I was wondering weather this was the prob as to the wireless router not comunicating with the modem. Just a thought.
