They take flippin ages. Every game (and dvd) I have ordered from them in the past has taken over a week to arrive. Even pre-orders don't arrive when promised. They are ok if you are not in a rush for the goods, but I gave up on them a while ago. I tend to use gameplay for eveything these days...

They have a tendency (spelling!) to state release dates that arent accurate so it seems like delivery is slow, i've ordered stuff and got it within 2 days before tho.

Try Argos, i've just bought DOA 4 (xb360) for £39.99 which was cheaper than most places and the same as play, but available just down the road for collection.

I've used them for ages. (and spent lots!)The prices are about the lowest you'll find and the delivery is normally in 3-4 days.

Same for me. I've used them for over 2 years and had only 2 problems with them sending out the wrong item. They are the cheapest for most games but sometimes you can find a game cheaper at argos or the supermarket. Depends on the game. I buy PS/2 games. They also do some good deals every now and then, xmas, easter, summer, etc etc

Default Play.com

I've used them loads, with no problems at all.

Also started to use www.blahdvd.com too.

But find it best to look at prices via www.Kelkoo.co.uk (who check play, blah, cdwow etc) and find out who's cheapest, and order from them

I used to use them all the time and their service was perfect. Miles better than cdwow.

I just use ebay now and get most of my games when they have been out for a couple of months for a fraction of their original cost.

I've tried to use them twice. Each time I got an email asking me to phone them up to confirm my order. So I promptly cancelled my order on both occasions. No other company has asked me to do this, so I don't understand why play do it. One of the reasons I buy things on the internet is so i don't need to deal with stupid salespeople, etc.

Thats exactly what the email said mate. But I was only trying to buy a game. I wouldn't call 40 quid high value.

Only order from play if you are not in a hurry. If you want games on the day of release go with gameplay.com. Fantastic service.
