Default Creative X-Fi soundcard.

Anyone else got one of these? I was pretty sceptical at lashing out a hundred notes for it but man it is worth it. I reckon it beats the Audigy 2 hands down......

I think it depends on what soundcard you already have, if like me your upgrading from a Live then maybe as i`d see a big performance increase aswell as the xi fi and audigy use the processor less than the lives do, but it might not be worth it if you have an audigy 2 or 4 due to the minimal performance increase you will get over those cards. But this also depends on the speakers you are running. the better quality speakers the better the sound you will get out of them.

I went from an Audigy 2 ZS to X-Fi fatal1ty FPS, if you have a half decent set of speakers you'll hear a big improvement in games that support the X-Fi (BF2 for example) - blinkin excellent.

Question Why?

I'm running Audigy 2 ZS Pro, with VideoLogic ZXR-750 7.1 surround sound, which is enough to rock the house, and the quality is A+
