How to ... Check download speed ?
Changed the main PC from wireless to ethernet.
Using wireless the connection was 48mbps, signal excellent & blah blah.
How do i check how fast it is with the ethernet cable ??

start menu > Control Panel > Network Connections >
Double click on network adapter and the speed should be listed. Id guess on it being 100Meg.
Wireless speed is typically half of what is quoted, so 48meg is nearer 20-25ish. With ethernet you get as good as what it says
