Have been playing with movie maker on my laptop, was just wondering what software is good for this or is whats already on my PC good enough.

best on the market at the mo IMHO is Adode Premiere, downside is the learning curve is very steep and it is very pricey. you could try Pinnacle Studio which isn't to bad to learn, downside(with my copy anyway) is, it's a bit buggy and doesn't always do what it says on the tin.

What do you want to do? Windows MM is probably all you need, buying new programs and keeping them working is a pain.

yup Windows MM will do all you need but Adobe works really well if you spend a little time learning the basics

ULead videostudio is also worth a look. Less buggy in my experience than pinnacle and easy to use.
