Default IPOD program for copying on and off easily

Anyone care to let me know what the best program for copying mp3s directly on and off the ipod is? (either freeware or with a free trial)

I have 2 pcs and everytime i plug it in to one it throws a fit and trys to delete all the tracks!

you cant copy on and off with itunes on differnet pc's????????

Or do you know a work around???

iTunes only ever allows you to copy music TO your iPod and never FROM it. It's one of the ways Apple prevents music piracy.

There are various third party applications that allow you to copy music from your iPod to your computer. Have a look here

If you're using a Mac, I would try PodWorks. I've used it for quite some time now and it's a great little Application

whats one of them? is it something you wear when it rains?

currently using anapod after following the links above, seems to do the trick!
