xbox binned
i cant play my original xbox anymore since i got the xbox 360, although i dont have that many games for the 360, when i put a game on the xbox it looks that bad i dont want to play it. i cant wait for when "far cry" comes out for the 360

Is it really going to be a year after the 360? I was going to try and hold out for the PS3 after the debacle with the 360's release, however, if it isn't early summer as I was lead to belive, I may have to grab a 360 on the next shipment........

I think the 360 is fantastic despite having not got one!
The reason that it's great for me is that it's driving down the second hand prices of games for the standard Xbox and also affecting the PS2 so I can pick up games with decent gameplay a lot cheaper. Eye candy is wonderful, but it soon wears thin. Look at the amount of people playing the downloadable games and the arcade classics again and again rather than repeatedly playing the 50 quid games.....
Yes I've seen a 360 running and played on one, and I even had one down as a birthday pressie for the missus to get me, but I told her not to bother as I thought it would be a waste of money
Plenty of excellent mature games out for the GC, PS2 and XBox and it'll take at least a year to get some real decent games out for the 360 (and for all the hardware glitches to be ironed out 
).

You buy the addon coming out soon and then you can. Before you say it I think its **** M$ did not include a high def DVD on release but thats life. People that already have a high def TV will not benefit from the PS3 unless they have 1080p compatibility that is unlikely as they are only starting to be released now. I will never use my 360 or PS3 as a DVD player as I will buy a standalone unit that doesn't have big hurricane fans running. Look forward to the PS3 as owning both should bring a good balance of games between the two.

Xbox with mod chip and XBMC is the best money I've ever spent on a gadget. hooked up to the PC it's great for films, watching Tv progs minus the ads, playing music, photos etc. mine will be with me a good while longer.
