Launch day delivery of games
Who are people using to pre-order games for delivery on launch day?
Any good or horror stories...?
I want to get TOCA RD3, play have it at 17.99 but will post it. No doubt the local Game will have it on the day but at twice the price.

Thanks chaps but that's coming in at 28 quid and still a chance it won't arrive.
I'm always dead keen to get stuff day one, looks like I'll be paying for the privilege

Erm, Play are selling RD3 for £29.99

Where did you get the £17.99 from?
Also, vereything I've ever ordered from play has taken at least a week to get to me, (even pre-orders), so I wouldn't use them if you want it on day of release.
As I said, I've bought far too much stuff from gameplay (more than 50 games over the last couple of years), and even single one has arrived on or before day of launch (including my 360 console).

It was the PC version:

I might have gone with gameplay if it was a bit cheaper but for the sake of a couple of quid, I'll probably just pick one up instore.
Nice to have the info for future tho, cheers.

Gameplay seem to be shipping things earlier and earlier. My copy of Tony Hawk has just been delivered, it's not due out till Friday !!
How do they get away with shipping things so early, retails outlets can't put them on the shelves that early ! ( not that I'm complaining mind you )

Same here. Gameplay every time. Stuff usually arrives at least 1 day early, and sometimes 2 days early. Pretty good on price as well...
