Default FS: Netgear Wireless Ethernet Bridge (Ideal for PS2/XBox/GC)

Due to upgrades I have one of these for sale. Basically it can be used connect your PS2/XBox/XBox360/Gamecube to your wireless network. Plenty quick enough for Xbox Live, which is it what I used it for.

The blurb . . .

Product Description
This NETGEAR's ME101 Wireless Ethernet Bridge makes it easy to create or extend a Wireless Network to include Ethernet devices without having to add Ethernet wiring to your home. Since it delivers greater range and signal strength than most other 802.11B adapters, you can be able to enjoy uninterrupted Wireless Network Access to Ethernet devices within range of your Router. With high level 128-Bit WEP Encryption, it provides a high degree of privacy. Moreover, powerful 40/64-bit and 128-bit WEP Encryption protects your Network from Wireless eavesdroppers. This quickly and easily links an Ethernet device such as gaming console or TiVo to your Wireless Network without having to rearrange the furnishings of your home. Detachable antenna allows you to choose an optimal signal strength and provides access at distances greater than most 802.11B devices. Integrates Ethernet devices to a Wireless Network to make high-speed Wireless Internet Access available to any such device. No problem, drop me a mail if he's interested.

I've moved my wireless router downstairs so its hardwired and got a USB wireless wotsit in my PC upstairs. I plan to hardwire the lot at some point.

Particularly useful if you have an old Mac G3 or laptop with no airport card in and want to WiFi from your NTL router in the lounge to your office upstairs...

Hypathetically speaking...

(my point being it will (more than likely) work on Macs as well... )

Good point Rich.

Basically it can be used to bring onto your wireless network almost any device with an ethernet port

Edit to add: Config of the bridge can be done via any browser.
