Default losing cookies

everytime I switch off my pc, I have to log into my google homepage, scoobynet and any other board or place I would normally be logged into automatically. Anyone any idea why this is happening? Have I got a virus
Chris.

A virus or Spyware - what Anti-Spyware are you running????

Incidentally i run MS Beta but sometimes i scan and it gives me the all clear where as Spybot will pick up loads.

Send Gillp95 a PM, he does this sort of thing for a living

You can enable cookies on internet explorer. Type in Cookies from your Start..Help menu and it explains how to do it.
Go to Start..settings... control panel..internet options...privacy.... and move the slider to medium

thanks chief, I'll do that.
powerman1, the cookies were working, which makes me think I've now got a virus or spyware
more work required I think,
chris.

I run four spywares and they all find different things..Spybot,Ad-Aware,BT Yahoo,Microsoft Beta all these are free and dont seem to conflict with each other.A word of warning though after you have run your Spyware programm you will not be able to use the system restore(xp) back to that day at which you run the Syware scans.
P.S Ad-Aware seems to find a file called VX2 and you will have to add the VX2 cleaner to your Ad-aware program which if i remember correctly is also available form PCworld....free
