Default Clicking sound when left mouse button pressed

As the title sayes.The kids i think have managed to put a sound on so when you left click a web page you get a stange click type sound....I did have a HP lap top that did it from new and i just got used to it,But now on the desk top its annoying..can anyone throw any light on it..... thanks

Control Panel,
Sounds and Audio Devices
Sounds
Scroll down till "Windows Explorer" section.
Select "Start Navigation"
below it, click on the down arrow next to the file location of the sound, select 'none' from the top of the list
