Angry Can somebody pleeeeeeeez help

I'm really losing the plot rapidly.

I posted a couple of days ago after downloading Service Pack 2 and hoving a few problems.

Well basically my internet is now proper fooooked

I try to update to fix any possible problems with SP2 but just stops responding, try to update my spysweeper and McAfee......nothing [not responding is the tag].

Is it some sort of security setting I need to turn off.

B*stard thing has also only give me a couple of restore points not enough to rid me of the SP2.

Help the pooter may have to learn how to fly veeeeerrrreeeeeeee sooon

First thing I'd do is turn off the system restore, then boot up into safe mode and run a virus/spyware scan, see if it picks up anything. If it does, fix the problems, reboot again into safe mode, run the scan again. Keep doing this until all viruses/spyware are gone.

Boot up and turn on restore. Then see if you still have problems, and also try and download updates for McAfee and Spysweeper.

Have you tried downloading Microsoft Antispy? It sounds like you have a spyware/adware problem.
