Default mp3 player - help needed

Help !! young son has just purchased a cheap 128mb portable mp3 player and has asked me to upload some songs on to it - question is ?? can I on my particular pc and if so how do I go about it ??

pc is a packard bell club 66 ( old !! ) no dvd drive on it, limited h/drive, do I catually require a dvd player / writer to transfer the contents off any downloaded songs or mp3 discs that I have already onto this mp3 player ??

lastly !! any idea on just how many songs the 128 size player will hold ??

any advice as always much appreciatted.

cheers,
john

Put CD into CD drive. Use Mediaplayer to rip songs. use explorer (mp may do this for you?) and drag/drop to mp3 player. Should be that simple. mp3 player may have it's own software.

128 will hold about 25/30 songs. Depends on the bitrate. 128k should be ok for a cheap mp3 player.

Don't forget you will need to pug in the player to a USB port. Then drag and drop from CD drive in Explorer.
