Default Sending emails with NTL problem

Thought i would ask on here before i spend half the day on the phone to technical support

I have just upgraded to 2Mb broadband, i now have a modem instead of using the set top box and i can't send emails , i can receive them but not send, is there and settings that might of been changed when i run the setup program that i can change.

Thanks in advance

My e-mail has just completely packed up on ntl broadband, was fine untill last night, it still works if i access it via ntl homepage but not via outlook express.
Ive managed to send an online enquiry but the chances of anything back are slim.

Deano.

You are a star, i do have a router but that has never caused any problems before we upgraded to 2Mb with a separate modem

If you can send emails, there is no reason why it shouldnt receive.
