Default Help Please

Hi Guys

I have a packard bell pc and at the mo it only has 192mb Ram, If I upgrade the tower to say 512mb will I see a big difference in performance, its only 12 months old

1 G is the norm now with a better cpu I think

If you are running XP, it needs around 512mb to run any way well.

You should notice a nice performance increase as more data can be passed directly through the ram, rather than the hdd swap file, which is a lot slower.

The system should 'feel' smoother and apps should load quicker.
