Default Anyone Got a Xbox 360 CORE Edition??

Hi

Jus wonderin' has anyone got one of these, been reading reveiws and there are some cropping up on fleebay and i'm tempted to get one, i could live with the wired controllers, and the Non HD cable; i dont have a HDTV anyway. There is also Obvioulsy the lack of the HD, but could this be over come by attaching a HD via the USB or buying a mem card?

Cheers

Had one for a couple of weeks before flogging it on ebay for a tidy profit . The core addition is ok but could not access xbox live wth it or play old xbox games as you need the hard drive. Think your best bet is to hang on a couple of weeks and get a premium pack, dont go on ebay and get fleeced

I have a core

you will need a mem card for save games and your live profile. You can go on live with the core no problem, you just don't have much space for marketplace kak.

I'll just buy a HD for it when I can get it.

ps. you can only use a USB HDD for read functions and not write eg gamessaves

The HDD has already been hacked and its possible to add your own of much bigger capacity for roughly the same price.

I have a core while I wait for my Premium and it does the job fine. However the composite lead is sh1te with a capital S so you'd defo want the advanced scart cable.

As for ebay - people are idiots - you can get cores in shops and people are still paying 300 on there for them. I bought mine through AV Forums as they have put down a rule that there will be no 360's allowed for sale over rrp - and theres been a fair few, Ebay is for mugs for this kit..........
