ACER Laptops?
Hi people,
Anyone got experiance of ACER laptops? My laptop really does require replacing, but I'm on a bit of a budget. For £599 they are offering :
AMD Turion 64 ML-30 1.6GHz
15.4" WXGA
512MB DDR333
60GB ATA/100
DVD Dual/Double layer
LAN + Wireless LAN
56K Modem
I thought that seemed reasonable for the money, but not sure if I should stretch to a better brand. Any advice/pointers, fire away! I could stretch to £800ish.

Not got any experience with Acer laptops but we've suplpied quite a few desktops/monitors recently.
They build quality has been very good - tidy wires, hardware fixed properly etc.
Had one faulty machine which was fixed in a 3 week turnaround - wasn't too impressed with the responce as it should hav ebeen changed as DOA.
Can't fault the Acer quality so far though.
