PS2 has just gone black and white only - help!
Was playing GT4 - all was fine - colout etc. Changed menus and now the picture is only B&W - the game is working as it should just the colour has gone. Have tried switching off, different disc etc but it's still the same. Any ideas please?

I've checked all the connections - running the PS2 SCART adaptor into the TV with the 3 cable connection from the PS2 itself. How could I have changed to NTSC mode? Sounds possible as it happened suddenly - can't remember if I pressed a wrong button though?

Seem to recall that some older Televisions could not handle NTSC. Most prevelant when for example you play a Region 1 DVD in a Multi-region DVD player and the picture comes up in black&White. Can only assume that you may be playing an NTSC game in your Playstation. Or is there something on your T.V that you pressed for one of your SCART connectors? Have your tried another SCART connector on the back of your TV to rule this out?

All sorted! It seems I got carried away when pressing the AV4 button on the TV remote - press it twice quickly and it goes to Video-S from RGB and ta-da - black and white picture! Thanks for the suggestions guys.
