Default NFS: Most Wanted (Xbox)

Not overly impressed so far - was on my list for X360 purchases, but unless it blows the keks off the Xbox version I'm gonna give it a miss

Handling seems to have gone to the arcade stylie, graphics actually seem to have taken a step backwards, tuning/customisation options are more of the same. To me it looks like EA pumping the NFS franchise for all it's worth rather than a genuine improvement. In a blind test I'd have said that NFSU2 was the most recent game rather than Most Wanted. If you've got NFSU2, I'd save yer pennies.

Still, outrunning the cops has it's amusing moments...

Gza review = 7/10 Please try harder.

Agree entirely. Played the demo a little while back . . . it sucked. Played the final game last night . . . pretty much sucked too

Graphics were awful, saw a wheel arch made of 3 straight lines. Liked the cut scenes with the real life actors superimposed over the usual graphics.

Not much new, except the cops, got bored very quickly. The 360 version is certainly graphically head over heals better, but won't be a must-have for me.

been playing the ps2 version
not much has changed from underground IMO although i did think the whole package was a touch more polished.

ps2 version tends to suffer a bit from slowdown i think?
i thought the graphics would clip before they slowed down, unless its supposed to actually be like that?

anyway, it helps pass the time at work in the office

OT but the PC version is awesome, the gfx are soooooo much better than in NFSU. Depends on the spec of PC and detail you run the game at I guess

I was watching some chavs play it on xbox in game, and you could see some really bad slowdown in places, not good
