Default Xbox 360 and live

Silly question I suspect but where is the best place (price) to get a Live subscription for thew 360?

Gameplay want 40 quid for the year, but the mark 1 is 35 with free PGR2. Can one use a mark 1 Live subscription for the 360?

TIA

yep. Last I heard was that if you have a live subscription at the moment, it'll just transfer over to the 360 as a gold account. No need to re-subscribe...

ta so youve got content downloads on silver but to play multiplayer get gold. If thats right then that sounds good to be able to get free downloads if you like it solo...

Thanks for the info chaps but it appears I won't be there. GamePlay have just emailed me to say they have insufficient allocation for the order I placed on 18th August!

Got a feeling this is going to be the case for many people, I know my local 'Game' is only being allocated 15units on the 2nd December...

I'm still waiting for Toys r Us to confirm that I'll get my pre-order :0/

Unlucky I placed mine on the 17th, and I've just got an email through from gameplay saying I'll have it on launch. I'd guess you'll be one of the first people in the next batch...
