quick but urgent question re Outlook files...
Father's PC has died.
Got the HD out of it and put it into my USB caddy (running as an external drive)
Is there any way to extract the email files from the drive without using Microsoft Outlook?
He's never done a *.pst file
Answers on a postcard!!
Thanks in advance,
Dan

This is "proper" Outlook, not Outlook Express?
In which case, unless he was connecting to an Exchange Server, he must have a PST file. There's no other way to store messages in Outlook, at least that I know of!

As the old chap has now seen sense, he decided to follow my lead an migrate over to Apple (at last!!)
Managed to access all of his emails and forward them as an attachment to an email address he will use on his Mac Mini
The other option is to use a migrating package, but can't really be bothered!!
Nice one though
