Default Forwarding email in Exchange 2003?

Is there an easy way to forward email sent to one mailbox, onto three external email addresses?

The forward option will work for one external email address set up as a contact, but it will not forward to a distribution list.

Am I missing something stupid, or can't it be done?

thanks
Andy

why not set up a rule on the mailbox to forward all mail to the 3 addresses? Means you need access to the mailbox but its probably the simplest way to do it.

Andy,

Is the mailbox a user? You can send e-mail to a distribution list directly. e.g. sales@domain.com can receive external mail which distributes it to all it's members. Members can include user objects, contacts (external addresses too) or other groups.

You can also forward mail to a distribution list. It may be determined by what type of group though i.e. security, distribution, global, universal, etc..
