Default GT Legends, anyone got it yet?

Just interested

Recieved it t'other day, definately not a bad sim to have alongside GTR!

Graphically it's pretty impressive especially with the day to night transitions, hopefully Simbin can release a patch that includes HDR (HL2 Lost Coast) lighting at some point so you get well and trully blinded by the sun!

Gameplay is excellent and the AI is a bit better than GTR's, cars are 'fun' handling to say the least but a joy to drive.

Played a couple of quick races online, netcode seems a bit better than GTR, no real noticable lag or cars disapearing when starting a race.

Well worth a purchase!

Will be getting it some time.
It's just a shame Simbin didn't sort the issues they have with GTR. Still maybe they'll address them now that GTL is out.

I have it Been racing online the last 3 nights. Awaiting the patch as it is meant to fix several of the issues we have, especially online. Most bizzare one being the garage doors are closed so you can't drive onto track, the most important being to up the max number of cars from 16 to 36. We've maxed out a couple of times.

Can't believe the server replays show the cars without wheels tho - that is a bug from GTR not yet fixed. This is meant to be fixed in the patch too.

As for racing, the car handling is top notch. Sliding is a real joy and the cars really forgiving. Contact is also less punishing than with GTR, and needs to be. Some of the races we've had have been unbelievably close.

Fingers crossed Simbin have learnt something from GTR and will support the game better. Don't expect it to be perfect but it shouldn't have bugs that stop people racing.
