Can't See New Emails!! Exchange 2003 / Outlook 2003
Hi,
got the following problem on Exchange Server 2003 when used with Outlook 2003:
When new mail is received I get the little pop-up telling me i've got new mail but I don't actually see it appear in the inbox or any other folder!! They are definately received from what I can see in the Mail Tracking Center in Exchange System Manager and are directed to my mailbox.
This is affecting all mailboxes in the domain! i've tried clicking on another folder and then clicking back in. Also tried creating a new profile to re-load the data file but no joy!
If anybody can help it'd be great as else I've got no idea how I can access all the lost emails !!!
HELP !!! I'm going crazy !!
thanks
Jai

Hi RichB
the only place I can see I've had the Emails are in the Exchange Mail Tracking application and also the little pop-up window on screen when I get new mails. They don't show in any folder, including junk and inbox and also don't show when I do a search from within Outlook.
According to Outlook 'all folder's are up to date' so where's my mail ??
I hope you can help
thanks

ALso forgot to mention, tried dis-mounting and re-mounting the information stores, restarting the Exchange Information Store service.
Curiously the emails don't even show in Outlook Web Access (regardless of machine) which leads me to believe it's a problem with Exchange and not Outlook?

THe problem continues to grow evermore confusing.....
Just had an email and the pop-up came up indicating new mail. CLicked it and the email opens - no sign in the inbox though !!!

My amazing non-computer literate girlfriend solved the problem!!!
Turns out for some reason the time and date on the Exchange server was 3 days behind!! Emails were coming into the inbox but not as you'd expect on a date/time sorted list where they'd be at the top. The date change meant they were appearing somewhere down the list !!
My other half clocked on to this and now it's fixed !!!
Just goes to show ...... you don't need to be a tech bod
