setting a global policy for home page
Anyone know how to set a group policy to change all home pages on a 2003 domain on a one off basis. e.g we just want to set it as a one off and then allow users to change it to something else. When we unset the GPO it reverts all home pages to msn.com....which is a bit cheeky.

in group policy, user configuration, windows settings, URL's then important URL's and the top tab will be the default home page, they can chnage this unless you lock them out of it, Edited to add sorry im not sure of a one off policy as it will go back when they restart, may be a reg tweak or similar

That would be great.

Ok, basically this line is in the logon script:
cscript "\\<servername>\netlogon\ilaunch.vbs"
And the vbs script is:
On Error Resume Next
Set objExplorer = WScript.CreateObject _
("InternetExplorer.Application")
objExplorer.Navigate "about:blank"
objExplorer.ToolBar = 1
objExplorer.StatusBar = 1
objExplorer.Width = screen.availWidth
objExplorer.Height = screen.availHeight
objExplorer.Visible = 1
objExplorer.Navigate "http://intranet"
cscript "\\<servername>\netlogon\ilaunch.vbs"
And the vbs script is:
On Error Resume Next
Set objExplorer = WScript.CreateObject _
("InternetExplorer.Application")
objExplorer.Navigate "about:blank"
objExplorer.ToolBar = 1
objExplorer.StatusBar = 1
objExplorer.Width = screen.availWidth
objExplorer.Height = screen.availHeight
objExplorer.Visible = 1
objExplorer.Navigate "http://intranet"
