Wife's Ebay account got hacked!
Hi
My wife has an Ebay account with about 1000 feedbacks. A while back, her other account got hacked & this moring we see that this account has been hacked. There are something like 13 new postings selling electronic equipment like cameras & cellphones. My wife's password is random alpha numeric in upper & lower case - unhackable as far as I can see. The same is true for her linked email account password. Her secret answer is very difficult & is a foreign word.
It looks to me that the hacker has found some way direct into the Ebay system. Has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks for your replies.
We have very good anti-spam, anti-spyware, firewall & anti-virus systems. We never reply to any phishing attacks that may get through our security.
Server protection:
W2003 Fully patched
Firewall router attached to 2nd server nic.
MS ISA Firewall 2004
McAfee Groupshield 6
GFI Mail essentials anti-spam
Workstation protection:
XP2 Fully patched
MS Office 2003 fully patched
MS ISA firewall client
XP SP2 firewall
McAfee Enterprise v8.0 patch 10
Adaware Plus with Adwatch running
Fully invisible according to grc.com
We're pretty tight with security here & are very aware of phishing risks. The last hack was exactly one month ago (interesting). We never use public computers to access Ebay. As a credit card is not linked (for security), only £15 worth of listing fees can accrue at any one time, any further listings won't post until payment is made. The hacker however has incurred another approx £100 of Ebay charges - which should be impossible. My theory is that Ebay themselves are being hacked - not the account.
