Default Card reader ??

Help !!!!!!!!!!

okay , have just purchased a usb card reader and am now trying to get a file that is on one off a disc onto an sd card.

press on removable drive " f " and will be given a list off whats on the sd card as it is, so okay as I say need to copy the wanted file from the disc onto the memory card.

have tried the following with still no joy -

1/ right clicked on the wanted file and choose the "send to" option but do not get the choice off memory card or similar to send it to so that rules that one out, no browse option either just the usual " briefcase " etc.

2/ then tried right clicking on the wanted file and choosing copy but still nothing happens, then clicked on paste and youve guessed it still nothing !!!!!!!

please someone tell me exactly what I am doing wrong ??!!! always thought transferring a file from pc to memory card was something even I could manage but guess not !!!!!!!!

I just use windows explorer and drag the file from one drive to the other. Copy & paste should work as well. Are you sure the sd card isn't write-protected, and are you sure it has enough room to store the file you are trying to transfer?

SD=Secure Digital. Some cards require a password.
