windows installer has gone missing

i can't install anything recently,

it keeps saying that windows installer is missing

what can i do?

have you tired windows installer 3.1 off the microsoft site, thing is, it probably wont install that either, have you tried a rollback?

guess what when i restart the pc it works,

but if i leave the pc running over 5-6 hours it doesn't work, and the audio doesn't too.
i need to keep restarting the ******
