Do I disable the irritating click noise when I use the mouse button when clicking on something when I use Internet Explorer (Windows XP operating system). I know it must be something obvious but buggered if I can find out thanks, david

 

Control panel -> Sounds & Audio devices

Select the sounds tab

Scroll down to the internet explorer section / Start navigation

Change the sound setting to none.
