Question Using Fax Component in XP?

As ever I'm sure someone can help.

I've installed the fax component on Windows XP, I've added the fax option to my printers however I can't seem to send anything.

When I try to configure it it tells me that it can't find a modem, which is correct as I've got a wireless card and access the net via an ADSL router, what do I need to do to make it work?

Also any idea how I can receive faxes? particularly as I have broadband so faxing my telephone number will never get through to my PC.

Not planning to use this a lot, and probably more to send than receive, but any pointers would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Signing up to an online fax provider. You need a normal phone line and modem to send faxes otherwise

Thumbs up

Lightning,

Cheers for that, not to worry, I'd only ever use it about once a year anyway.
