help setting up wireless access point - don't know the ip to telnet to
I have an oldish symbol24 3021 wireless access point which i have plugged into my router, problem is .. i don't know what the ip address is to be able to connect to it.
Is there a way i can find out the ip address from the mac?
It's not showing as getting a dhcp lease in my router setup page, so i presume it must be set to a static ip address with dhcp disabled.
Any ideas People?
Cheers
Andy

I'd try something obvious like 192.168.1.1 or 1.100 - something like that.
Or try setting your PC to DHCP for the IP address. If the AP has a DHCP server it will give your PC an address. If you do IPCONFIG from a command prompt, you'll see the default gateway which will be the Symbol AP. If not try looking here
