Hi all,
Having just bought a Panasonic dv camcorder nv-gs17, one of the cheaper models without any software etc
I now want to edit the footage, download to a acer 4000 travelmate laptop and burn a dvd with the new media

Is there software to do this? and can I buy this with a firewire adaptor

If you're using Windows XP. just use Windows Movie Maker, it does a great job, is easy to use and you've already paid for it.

Or if you want to pay for something, try Ulead, they have quite a few decent products, browse the web for a trial version etc.
