Talking quick question?

how do you uninstall an anti virus programme?

its for a mate and that all the info he gave me, just wondered if there was anyone that can advise without any more info given,

both myself and my mate are computer illiterate, cheers

start > settings > control pannel > add remove programs

find it

uninstall

Unless of course its Mcafee or Norton, in which case its probably embedded itself in the registry and wont leave no matter what you try!

Sorry, just had a PC wrecked by a user trying to uninstall and reinstall mcafee too many times and creating a position where it didnt work, but couldnt be uninstalled properly either. Pain the the a**e.
