I need to incorperate into a web page a word doc so that when you goto the web page a word doc opens inside the page in a designated space.
I do not want to embed the word doc as it will need to constantly updated my marketing. and I do not want to just add the word doc as a hyperlink.
I know you can do it and have done it but can not remember how to do it.
I thought I had the answer on our web server in the old web page I initially did it in but my boss in her infiante wisdom deleted the page rather than copying it to a new name so now I am a bit fooked.
and no we do not have a back up of it as it was decommisioned about 18 months ago.
I have an earlier revision of the page on another server but this doesn't have the appropriate change in it.
Can anyone help me out here this is fairly important.
the server is .asp if that makes a difference.
Cheers
Steve

just looked into this a bit more and it works fine for embedding word docs (or pdfs and a host of other stuff) into the current page.
take a look at this link for details of the IFRAME tag and properties. where they have src=foo.html, enter the name of your word doc there instead of html page.
