How to find out Connection speed?
Being a bit dim here but cannot find out my connection speed. Meant to be upgraded recently to 512 but don't notice a difference. On DSL with AOL(gulp).

There are a couple of websites out there that will do you a speed check. One I use is www.adslguide.org.uk
And you have the chance to rate your ISP as well.

If youre connected using a modem directly plugged into your PC, rather than through a router on a LAN, then hovering over the two screens icon in the taskbar (bottom right of your screen) when youre connected should be an indication of the speed you are connected at.
