Typical computer company - spend ££££££ on marketing, and charge ££££££ on sub-spec low quality PC's and bundles including stuff you never need. Whilst uppper management and directors cream off the cash until there is nothing left.
If my memory was a bit better I could list a load of companies that have gone down the same chute - AST, Escom, Microland (perhaps commodore? ) are a few that spring to mind

Our next door neighbours bought one of their pieces of ****e, they wanted me to have a look at it cos was playing up, and when I got the top off, they'd glued all the components in! Cheeky *******, meant it wasn't able to be upgraded.

Whilst Tiny/Time were a ****-poor company; its common practice to run a line of superglue down the edge connectors during assembly. This isnt to prevent you from upgrading, its to reduce the number of non-fault RMAs caused by rough handling in transit.

Who's next???
.....Where in the world? Piiii ssy world Doubtful I know - could always hope. But at least some of their parts are cheap if you hunt around, I bought a 5 port 10/100 switch + 2 NIC + 2x 5m patch cables for £15 - not bad at all! Only to be let down when they chjarged £60 for a 80gig hard disc

I can't see DSG canning PC World.
Escom took over the Rumblelows shops and somewhat over expanded.
The original Tiny PCs were good. This was when the company was quite new (early 90s).

My first PC was built by TINY. That was back when they were just a mail order company. 486 dx2 66Mhz.
Oh and Amiga's!! when I first loaded Batman on my brand new Amiga (coming from a Speccy +3) and I heard the machine gun sounds... blown away!!!
I hadn't planned on buying the Amiga either, just go bored of waiting for the Konnix Multisystem!

Crap computers anyway. I used to work for an independent PC shop a few years back and along with Compaqs and IBMS, Tiny's we just would not touch with a ten foot barge pole in terms of repairs.
