use a program called azureus to download the torrents
go to sites like mininova etc to view and choose the torrents to download.
i get all the top gear episodes for instance
of course i wouldn't condone illegal downloads of games movies etc etc
very very easy to do save torrent right click and open then azureus does the rest

Been using bit tornado for years now and never had a problem, you may need to configure your firewall though.
Isohunt is a good torrent site.
bearshare is a good p2p direct connect site.

Yes bit tornado is the best client available IMHO. I can download 1.5gig in an hour, I have a 2meg broadband connection.
You will find with isohunt that some torrents will fail because you need to register to a dodgy spanish site, never register. There are sites out there you can join like a forum and you get guaranteed downloads, I hve been a member of 1 for years now, but you need to upload as much as you download, if not more, in order stay a member of this site.
I also use a prog called newsleecher which is twice as fast, but twice as complicated as torrents, its also not free. HTH
