TT superbikes - cheats ??!!

TT superbikes - cheats ??!!
Okay folks, have been advised to press the following button sequence to enable the cheat mode on the ps2 game " TT superbikes " :
R1 R2 L1 L2 R1 R2 L1 L2 then a keypad is supposed to appear on which you type the word " speedfreaks "
so okay take it the above button sequence relates to the rear left and right buttons on the ps2 controller ?? ask this because I have pressed the above combination in with theese buttons, but no keypad seems to appear ??!!
it is within the main menu screen the one with the arcade mode,challenge mode, 2 player, options etc that I should be trying the above ???

Yep, thats the correct screen and the right sequence, but type in world champ, that opens everything up, inc all bikes, helmets, leathers etc. Just done a sub 20 minute lap first time out on the 600, well smart game
