Is there an easy method for converting a webpage coded in Dreamweaver to CSS?

Doesn't Dreamweaver allow the use of CSS then? I'd have thought there was a function inside it to create a css and associate html elements with it. Even Frontpage has got that!!! It's a pretty major feature to be missing if it hasn't...

(p.s. That's why I always code everything by hand in a text editor and don't touch these fancy html editor things )

The latest versions of Dreamweaver have a "Convert table elements to CSS" feature I think. But I don't think I would trust it to convert everything correctly. Saying that I've never tried it so I couldn't say for sure.

Other than that, or rewriting the whole thing from scratch then there isn't much you can do as far as I am aware.

There isn't, nothing can properly convert HTML to XHTML and CSS except a human brain.

Yes it allows the use of, and I have css elements within my webpages, however, I wanted it all CSS and can't code it so was hoping there was a magic program to convert it all for me

Ah I misunderstood what you were asking for

'fraid as has already been said, you're going to have to get out a good old text editor and edit the stuff by hand...

Bah!! I can't write CSS - in fact, my knowledge of HTML goes as far as proof reading and finding faults - have never attempted to write a whole site like that. *pats dreamweaver*.

Anyway, I've finished it now.... anyone care to check it out? It's very pink LOL
