Wink Laptop external DVD-RW Drive

Hi,

Would appreciate any advice before I purchase an external DVD writer for my Dell laptop.

Would rather a purpose drive, rather than an enclosure. Seen a Freecom for £77, which seems reasonable. It does all the formats I require, just wondered if there are any other cheaper avail.

Cheers,

Tony.

A superb choice tony, i had a freecome and they are great. They are alot smaller now thatthe older freecom models so they wont take up as much desk space. go for it. SHows how much the price has come down i paid "130 for mine 1 year ago.

Thanks for the reply J.

Are they recognised OK when copying to?

Was a little concerned that the applications would not see it as a drive etc!

Cheers again!
