256Mb PC100 memory wanted
Hi,
I've been asked to update a friends PC, it's for his daughter to do her homework on & surf the web so is only a very basic (old!) spec.
It only has 64mb of memory at the moment so I would like to obviously up this, the most the motherboard can accept is 2 x 256Mb PC-100.
I've done a bit of searching through online PC part shops and the price is IMHO very high for what is, in effect, very old technology. I assume this is due to the lack of demand.
Does anyone have any old 256Mb PC-100 memory sticks laying around they would be willing to sell?
Thanks.

I have a stick of 256MB DIMM in my spare stock and a couple of 64MB PC100 DIMM's.
I'm not sure on the PC rating of the 256MB stick, but it has 8x Infineon HYB39S128800CT-7's per side so the chips are a good make.
Not sure what it's worth, £15 + £1 P&P?
If you are interested let me know ASAP as I will be offline from Friday.
