just wondering if anyone might have any ideas if i can use xbox live on my chipped xbox?
i bought my xbox 1 year ago second hand from GAME i went to chip it to find out its already chipped!! not sure what chip its is but i cant switch it on and off it s always on? any way of telling what its is or if i could safly use xbox live on it?

With the chip always on then no you wont be able to use Live. to ID the chip you would need to open the Xbox and take some pics. I'm sure you would then be able to ID it with help on here. You may have to remove the chip and put in a newer one or it may be possible to add a switch to it.

do a search in here as it's been mentioned recently. It's to do with using an exploit in a save game to allow you to run unsigned code on the box. means you don't have to open a virgin box. You're past that stage so it wont be much use to you.
