Default Xbox - loosing settings

Hi,

My XBOX looses its time/date whenever its left unplugged for a few hours. I guess its down to a duff CMOS battery of something similiar. Does anyone else experience this problem and is there an easy fix?

Thanks
Frank

Got a feeling its not the battery and standard on all X-Boxes as I remember other people not happy about this either when the box first came out.

mmm, thats a bit of a crapper then. I've actually got it chipped so wondering if theres some NTP add-on I could utilise to collect the time of my broadband router.

All xboxes loose time.

By chipping it , and running Xbox Media Center it will auto synch with an online clock , assuming you have a net connection ....

i'm on the execute 3 chip, but doesn't pickup time automatically. I've opened up the play center which connects me to one application displaying todays weather but once unplugged I'm sure it looses all these settings? - or maybe i'm wrong.
