Do you keep getting these annoying blasted things on your 'puters?
I have Norton Anti Virus, and Ad Aware and Spybot et al. But I keep getting something called Aurora coming up over the front of whatever I'm doing on here , even if I'm not actually doing anything on the web, We are online constnatly via Broadband.
It's really peeing me off now, is there any other type of ad blocker which would help alleviate this problem ?

Nasty bit of adware, there was a recent thread about getting rid of it, it aint easy though

Hi Yve

You can download "Noads" FOC off the Net-just look for it in Google. It stops Popups really well, you just put a new popup in the cancel column and you never see it again

I had that Aurora thing and it was a right PITA to get rid of

I decided to give Leslie's idea a try. NoAds. It works ! Since downloading that, anything that pops up can be targeted and that Auroa thingy seems to have been consigned to the firey depths of pop up hell.
