But what is it your disabling?

 

QoS looks at your packet sequence and decides how important they are and give them more or less bandwidth accordingly. Disabling it wont do any harm, but it will probably only give you a benefit if you have restricted bandwidth and QoS is supported at the other end

 

Works for me. Pretty quick now.
